About
CAMERATA TANGO was founded in 2015 by the Argentine soprano Ana Carolina Diz and is based on tango interpretation with a high musical and performing level.
The CAMERATA TANGO interpretation is based on the line of interpretation of the song, since in the beginning the great interpreter and composer of tango Carlos Gardel was the one who founded the line of interpretation of “Tango da camera”.
““Tango da camera” means to interpret the tango as a song, but with all the arrabalera characteristics of the musical interpretation of the Argentine tango. In fact, the most commonly used musical instrumentation for “Tango da camera” was: voice, piano and violin.
If we look back a little in time, we find that since the beginning of the 20th century, tango singers received their musical and vocal training from great singing teachers and musicians who came to Argentina during the great wave of immigration from Europe. That's why the tango singers of that time were vocally trained to interpret tangos at a high musical level.
CAMERATA TANGO plays tangos from the first to the most modern, by composers such as: Carlos Gardel, Enrique Santos Discepolo, Francisco de Caro, Astor Piazzolla, Mariano Mores, Carlos Cobián, and others.
The most famous tangos Por una cabeza, Volver, Mi Buenos Aires querido, El día que me quieras, Uno, and others, will also be interpreted with deep feeling, melancholy, temperament and romantic passion.
The singer Ana Carolina Diz is specially trained to lead the listeners through the concerts as a presenter and to convey the tango inspiration to them.
